Shay Principal's Message

Dear SHAY Families:

Welcome to the Sergeant Jordan SHAY Memorial Lower Elementary School family! We are excited to begin this new school year with you and your child(ren). Whether you are joining us for the first time or are a returning family, we are delighted to have you as part of our community.

At SHAY, we believe that the early years of education are crucial for laying the foundation for lifelong learning. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment where every child can grow academically, as well as, emotionally.

Success for all is achieved when schools and families work together. We strive to build effective partnerships with families, caregivers, community members, and organizations. We encourage each family to become active participants in our school community and to collaborate with teachers to support each child’s educational  journey.

Working together is the best way to ensure success for all, and communication is the foundation of this achievement. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that arise during the school year. We look forward to a wonderful year filled with growth, discovery, and joy.
